CTIBS Job Openings

  • Accountant – Oversee nonprofit financial procedures and documentation; licensed professional, approximately 1 hour per month
  • Membership Chair– Organize and manage membership activities
  • Responsible for the recruitment of CTiBS members
  • Maintains a membership database and records
  • Reports to the Board about membership matters
  • Reviews and processes membership applications
  • Collects and reconciles membership dues with the Treasurer
  • Attends every other week, one-hour CTiBS telephone board meetings
  • 3-4 hours/month
  • Legal Counsel- licensed attorney to provide legal advice to the CTiBS board as needed, estimated less than 30 minutes/month
  • Attends one-hour CTiBS telephone board meeting per quarter
  • Treasurer -  The CTiBS Treasurer has responsibility of overseeing the management and reporting of the organization’s finances.  Specific duties include:
  • Bank account maintenance – Selecting a bank, signing checks, and investing excess funds wisely
  • Financial transaction oversight – Being knowledgeable about who has access to the CTiBS’s funds, and any outstanding bills or debts owed, as well as developing systems for keeping cash flow manageable
  • Budgets – Developing the annual budget as well as comparing the actual revenues and expenses incurred against the budget
  • Financial Policies – Overseeing the development and observation of the CTiBS's financial policies
  • Reports – Keeping the board regularly informed of key financial events, trends, concerns, and assessment of fiscal health in addition to completing required financial reporting forms in a timely fashion and making these forms available to the board
  • Attends one-hour CTiBS telephone board meeting twice per month
  • 1-hour independent work/month
  • Grant manager– writes and manages grants for CTiBS, 5 hours per month
  • Google Ad Words specialistorganize and maintain Google Ad Words account.  Must have at least one year’s Ad Words experience. Minimum of 3 hours /week
  • Roving Reporter-  assist with writing news for CTiBS social media sites, CTiBS website and periodic newsletter. Tasks may involve writing CTiBS press releases, blog posts, summaries of current activities, update web pages. Attend 1 hour every-other week telephone CTiBS board meetings
  • Event Director -Organize and manage exhibit booth, business meeting and related events at one national conference per year
  • Website Assistant – assists the CTiBS webmanager manage the CTiBS website
  • Social Media Assistant – assists the CTiBS Social Media Manager to maintain CTiBS social media sites
  • Graphic Artist  - creates graphics for CTiBS publications and web sites
  • Credential Manager(paid position) – (Poonam asked to provide)
  • Liaisonsto APA, ApA, AMA, ACA, NASW, AAMFT, ANA - individual authorized to represent CTIBS for exchange of information for designated professional organizations.
