Dr. Richard Shuster is a clinical psychologist (Psy.D., Georgia School of Professional Psychology and M.S.W. University of Texas – San Antonio) whose interests in technology as they relate to the field of psychology include:
- The impact of social networking on personality functioning.
- The advancement of technology towards improved neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
- Internet safety advocacy
Dr. Shuster serves on the Steering Committee (Business/Strategic Plan Development Committee) of the proposed Society for Technology and Psychology (ST&P). Currently, Dr. Shuster is completing a residency in neuropsychology working with children, adolescents, and adults in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Shuster holds a seat on the advisory board of www.foraccess.com, a website dedicated to helping consumers find licensed professionals and verify that their licenses are current. Additionally, Dr. Shuster works with schools, law enforcement, and non-profit organizations to help promote Internet safety.
Dr. Shuster has over fourteen years of experience in Information Technology. As a former Executive Director for an IT consulting firm, Dr. Shuster provided technology solutions for such clients as the United States Army, state agencies, and Fortune 500 companies.
